Jenny Brady
Jenny Brady makes moving image artworks that interrogate communication through the language of cinema. Her works are measured adventures in uncertainty, often involving unreliable narrators and missed or mistranslations, questioning how we speak and listen, and who has the right and capacity to be heard.

Tracing the fragile, performative labour of communication across political stages and intimate sensory worlds, two films probe how meaning is transmitted, distorted, and sustained through noise.

Artists in this programme meditate on storytelling and agency, synthesising practices of filmmaking and living to suggest new forms of intergenerational care. The ways we interpret our collective selves are explored through tender engagements with technologies of record and remembrance.
